about The sally connection
The Sally Connection are Sol Harris & Jonathan Edwards : two talented and experienced singer-song-writer guitarists who met when Sol started dating (and since married) Jonathan's sister, Sally.
It was at one particular family gathering in 2005 when both Jonathan and Sol brought out their guitars and immediately captivated and enthralled the large audience with their spontaneous and ecclectic performance. Fate had blessed this random duo with extremely complimentary voices and guitar styles.
Inspired by this mutual appreciation for performing, having fun and entertaining people, and by their good fortune in having discovered each other, they decided to form a duo, so named because of the connection to Sally.
Since 2005, they have been playing at cafe's, bars and restaurants around Aucland City, at weddings on Waiheke Island, and across the country to the delight of many, far and wide.
Their popularity is reflected in the subsequent bookings to play at corporate functions, Christmas parties, weddings, private parties and many other venues.
